ARTIST STATEMENT
My work explores the conversation between nature and architecture. How organic forms and clean, geometric structures can clash, connect, and balance each other. I love taking something ordinary and turning it into something meaningful or unexpected.
My process is rooted in slowing down and really paying attention. I pull inspiration from subtle patterns in everyday life, using them to create pieces that spark curiosity and invite viewers to look a little closer. By reimagining textures and shapes that usually fade into the background, I try to highlight the quiet beauty that’s already around us.
Architecture has always amazed me. There’s something so striking about rigid, perfectly structured spaces sitting right next to softer, more natural forms. That contrast and the harmony it can create are at the center of my work. I’m interested in connecting the “perfect” with the “imperfect” and letting them exist together in the same space.
In the end, I hope my work encourages people to pause, observe, and reflect, reminding us that we’re surrounded by art in the simplest parts of our day-to-day world.
